Let’s Talk About Receivership – A Position of Trust

Let’s Talk About Receivership – A Position of Trust

Posted by Marcelo Bermudez

As tenant rents and bank/CMBS loan delinquencies increase, both the lender and owner want to protect the property and their interests.

A Receiver is a temporarily appointed, disinterested third-party fiduciary who helps a business or person preserve assets and property while litigation is ongoing.

It is a cost-effective way to manage property through the default / liquidation process.

We Roll Up Our Sleeves

Our careers started in construction after the 1994 Northridge earthquake before moving into the world of finance. We know how to find value where others cannot. We have the relationships with lenders, city and county officials, specialists, and contractors.

Shōkunin can tackle non-performing financial obligations through Rents & Profits Receivership assignments and restore deteriorating property assets through the Health & Safety Code and the California Code of Civil Procedure § 564 receivership.
