Five ways to keep a good attitude when things aren’t going as planned

Five ways to keep a good attitude when things aren’t going as planned

Posted by Marcelo Bermudez

Being an entrepreneur is a lonely business.

Even if you have a supportive spouse/family or circle of friends, circumstances can beat you up.

Having lost my father this year along with taking care of my mother with dementia full time has been a tough road. I am a professional at beating myself up for not being excellent all the time.

Aside from time alone meditating/praying, exercise and eating right, these are questions I ask myself out of a funk:

  • Prayer List – Who do you know could use a prayer on your behalf?
  • Morning Gratitude – List three things you’re grateful for when you wake up.
  • Life Lessons – List three obstacles throughout the day and what you’re learning
  • People You’re Thankful For – Who made your life better today?
  • Good Things – What were some positive things that happened today?

Make this part of your daily journal and watch the progress and ability to turn out of a mental funk become easier and easier.

I write seven days a week to help business owners and real estate investors:

✅ Accelerate value,

✅ Become better leaders,

✅ Access capital
