Why is it ‘Morning You’ makes great choices, but ‘Evening You’ makes terrible ones?
You are powerless to win in a moment-by-moment willpower game.
It’s time to question what you give authority.
Instead of your mind, let your body speak.
What is your internal chaos and war?
Can you resolve conflict within yourself?
It’s time to fire ‘Evening You’ and revoke its authority.
Make a commitment on one step toward a system.
Build that muscle of building that system with more steps.
Set clear boundaries – Don’t try it all at once.
When you fall short or are about to make a bad choice, model out the result:
Example – If you eat the rest of those french fries, how will you feel in the morning?
Will you avoid your morning workout? Will you continue to miss your weight loss target?
Now take this concept and make it macro:
If you can silence the negative self-talk on personal health/wellness, imagine what you can do for business or the planet if we didn’t all do what we want, when we want?
Most of our business and economic problems have to do with goal alignment.
Imagine if we could find alignment with ourselves, each other, the earth, and artificial intelligence.
Unless we can solve cooperation, what do we have to look forward to as a species?
