Sometimes, I wrestle with this tension:
If God gave me talents and the drive to build my business or projects I work on, am I using them the right way?
Am I trusting Him enough when I’m always working, always solving, always pushing forward?
But today, I remembered: Paul made tents.
The same Paul who wrote half the New Testament and performed miracles still had to hustle, work, and use his hands.
He wasn’t “less spiritual” because he made tents or “less anointed” because he handled billing and probably had to buy materials and equipment.
He was both called and capable, and he didn’t see a conflict.
I’m learning it isn’t whether you work but where you work from.
Are you driven by fear? Or are you building from rest?
Are you chasing provision? Or walking with the Provider?
Are you trying to prove something? Or simply partnering with God in purpose?
Jesus didn’t call us to abandon our gifts.
He called us to surrender them. To steward them.
To remember that we are sons and daughters first and builders second.
So yes, keep working on the deal.
Keep building that new product.
Keep showing up.
Just don’t forget: Paul made tents too.
You don’t have to choose between hustle and faith.
