How I learned doing nothing is the best answer many times

I used to work for a very wealthy family that owned and managed tens of millions of square feet of commercial real estate property.

When you work in production (i.e., commission), you can make the mistake of being shortsighted.

The patriarch of the family never rushed to decide anything and often said no.

It made for a hard living on my end, but I was learning a tremendous amount by living in the infinite versus next week.

The pressure slides right off and you learn to be more analytical, ask better questions, and offer more value.
