Enter CPACE.

Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy is a long-term, fixed-rate form of financing for energy-efficient measures invested in a commercial property.

Funding can cover up to 30% of a project’s cost and look back 36 months.

(Longer, if it is related to seismic upgrades.)

It is a great way to plug a hole in your capital stack if your bridge or perm lender can’t get to the value or leverage you need to avoid a capital call.
