I bought a run-down hotel to redevelop into a boutique hotel and banquet hall with retail food/beverage service as an owner-user. We had a good bridge loan from a private investor and I didn’t want to refinance. Not only did I not need to provide a personal guaranty, I don’t have to make my first payment for another 24 months.
